Auto Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Prepare initial vehicle damage estimates for the NEST team.

• Analyze vehicle damage photographs and generate high-quality preliminary estimates.

• Collaborate with body shops and clients in a dynamic, high-output environment.

• Utilize knowledge of regulatory compliance and equitable claims practices.

• Foster relationships with both internal and external clients.

• Produce damage estimates for first- and third-party material damage losses.

• Process and comprehend the content of all policy types issued by the company.

• Negotiate settlements, execute settlement payments, and log all activities in the file within authorized escalation limits.

• No supervisory responsibilities required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in auto technical estimating skills.

• In-depth knowledge of vehicle repair procedures.

• Ability to negotiate confidently with repair facilities.

• Proficient in CCC and Microsoft applications.

• Candidates must reside in one of the specified remote hiring locations: Florida, New Jersey, Virginia, South Carolina, or Pennsylvania.

• Previous experience in the auto insurance sector is highly preferred.

• Must have the authorization to work in the United States.

• Active insurance license holders are required to terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not maintain outside appointments during employment.

• Applicants holding a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when directed by the licensing team.

• Must have a dedicated, distraction-free workspace when working from home.

• Must provide appropriate desk and seating arrangements.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required.
