Auto Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Investigate and verify the facts surrounding advanced automobile accidents.

• Assess coverage, liability, and damages associated with claims.

• Adjust and negotiate claims within the limits of your authority.

• Independently manage advanced auto claims investigations, including aspects of coverage, liability, and damages.

• Review, assess, and negotiate basic to moderate injury claims, when applicable.

• Identify vehicle body components and other possible property damages.

• Recognize customer needs and deliver appropriate customer service.

• Assess potential for subrogation or fraud and handle cases accordingly.

• Utilize increased experience at the Adjuster II level or shift into specialty roles such as Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, or Extended Handler.

• No supervisory responsibilities are required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of insurance policies, industry standards, and organizational dynamics.

• Proven experience managing advanced auto claims involving coverage, liability, and damages.

• Capable of reviewing, assessing, and negotiating basic to moderate injury claims, if applicable.

• Skilled at recognizing and identifying vehicle body parts and potential property damages.

• Strong customer service abilities.

• Competence in determining potential subrogation or fraud risks.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

• Candidates with an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and should not hold outside appointments during their employment.

• Applicants for the adjuster position holding a resident producer license must formally surrender that license as directed by the licensing team.

• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace is required for remote work.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is essential.
