This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Conduct detailed and high-quality observations of children as part of the autism assessment process.
• Adhere to our Safeguarding Policy, which involves performing risk assessments when needed.
• Stay current with mandatory training and maintain your professional qualifications, including continuing professional development (CPD).
• Must hold professional registration with one of the following: HCPC, NMC, or Social Work England.
• Typical job titles for candidates with the necessary qualifications include:
• Occupational Therapist (HCPC)
• Speech and Language Therapist (HCPC)
• Nurse, which includes Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurse (NMC)
• Social Worker (Social Work England)
• Completion of an accredited ADOS-2 training course is mandatory for applicants registered with NMC, HCPC, and Social Work England. Clinical Psychologists may be considered without having completed ADOS-2.
• A minimum of 6 months' experience conducting autism diagnostic assessments for children and young people, specifically with experience in delivering child observations for those aged between 6 and 18 years.
• Strong time management skills, including the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with both parents and patients.
• An enhanced DBS check with a barred list check, as the role involves working with children.
• A base salary ranging from £60,000 to £62,000 per year, with the potential to earn £63,000 to £65,000 for more experienced clinicians.
