Audit Manager – Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee, direct, and evaluate various client engagements

• Organize and coordinate project workflows and staffing

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and facilitate change initiatives

• Conduct research and analyze financial statements and related issues utilizing electronic databases

• Employ software to audit, review, and compile financial data

• Record conclusions drawn during engagements

• Advise and serve clients, providing recommendations for business and process enhancements

• Act as a business consultant to clients

• Collaborate with Principals and Senior Managers on proposals and business development efforts

• Supervise, guide, and mentor associates and interns

• Evaluate staff performance

• Engage regularly in personal and professional development activities

⛳️ Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Accounting

• Over 6 years of progressive public accounting experience, ideally with financial services clients

• CPA license

• Strong technical skills, including a solid understanding of professional rules and regulations

• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated success in supervision and training

• Capability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-oriented team environment

• Outstanding communication and client service abilities

• Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and organizational skills
