Audio Transcription, Quality Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia.

📋 Description

• Listen to audio recordings and create accurate, verbatim transcriptions in Estonian.

• Capture not just the spoken words but also the manner in which they are expressed (including filler words, repetitions, and false starts).

• Assign speaker labels for recordings with multiple speakers (2–8 participants).

• Insert precise timestamps for text segments (with 500ms accuracy).

• Annotate non-speech events such as laughter, background noises, or unclear audio.

• Adhere to detailed project guidelines and uphold high quality standards.

• Ensure consistent productivity and reliability throughout the duration of the project.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in Estonian, including a strong grasp of regional accents and informal speech.

• Excellent listening comprehension and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to produce verbatim transcriptions, encompassing stutters, repetitions, and filler words.

• Previous experience in transcription, annotation, or linguistics is a plus.

• Comfortable utilizing browser-based tools (training will be provided).

• A reliable internet connection is essential.

• Access to a laptop or desktop computer (mobile devices are not supported).

• Consistent availability for 20+ hours per week.
