This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
• Ensure accurate financial record-keeping in compliance with Australian accounting standards.
• Aid in the preparation of BAS, GST, and other statutory reporting obligations.
• Prepare and process journal entries while completing account reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing procedures and related reporting tasks.
• Review financial records to identify discrepancies or issues that need follow-up.
• Utilize accounting systems, including MYOB and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, to manage and maintain financial data.
• Address internal and external financial inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
• Assist in preparing financial information and schedules for management and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate supporting documentation and financial records.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and documentation.
• Work independently to meet recurring deadlines while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Undertake other duties at the position level as they arise.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 2–3+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or a similar position is required.
• A solid understanding of Australian accounting principles, BAS, and GST requirements is necessary.
• Proven experience in preparing journals, account reconciliations, financial reports, and supporting month-end processes is essential.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly regarded.
• Experience with MYOB or a comparable accounting system is beneficial.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high numerical accuracy are essential.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, including the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, are necessary.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial.
• Ability to respond professionally to internal and external finance inquiries is required.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment is essential.
• A willingness to pursue further professional development, such as a CA or CPA pathway, is preferred.

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM AEST
