This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.
• Examine legal and non-legal invoices for insurance providers, corporate legal departments, and governmental organizations.
• Implement client-specific billing guidelines and Generally Accepted Principles and Standards (GAPS).
• Collaborate with clients to create or refine billing procedures.
• Engage with law firms regarding adherence to client billing requirements.
• Oversee the invoice workflow process.
• Independently finalize and authorize legal invoices for payment.
• Achieve production standards set by the company.
• Work together with team members to fulfill production objectives and targets.
• Juris Doctorate (JD) is mandatory.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in insurance defense or complex litigation is required.
• Capability to comprehend and apply clients’ billing guidelines and standards.
• Proficient in communicating effectively with law firms about compliance with client billing requirements.
• Ability to operate independently.
• Competence to meet production standards established by the company.
• Proficient keyboarding skills.
• Adept hearing, vision, and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong clear and conceptual thinking skills.
