This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the administration of Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, Jira Product Discovery, and other related Atlassian products.
• Design, configure, and sustain projects, workflows, screens, permissions, and automations for both agile (Scrum/Kanban) and traditional/sequential teams to support business functions.
• Configure and manage Jira Premium features, including Advanced Roadmaps, sandbox/release environments, and project archiving, to facilitate safe change testing and enterprise-level planning.
• Establish and uphold platform governance standards that encourage consistency, scalability, and security.
• Review existing configurations and consolidate projects, spaces, and applications into a manageable enterprise environment, collaborating with team members who have maintained operations.
• Create JQL-based filters, dashboards, and reports that provide stakeholders with insights into project and platform health.
• Oversee Atlassian integrations with enterprise systems while ensuring data integrity and traceability.
• Assess, implement, and manage approved Atlassian Marketplace applications.
• Collaborate with distributed Jira administrators to balance local flexibility with enterprise standards, and develop documentation and training to help teams maximize the use of Atlassian tools.
• Assist in the administration of additional enterprise platforms, including ERP, Salesforce, AI tools, and other sanctioned business applications as organizational needs change.
• Manage access, configuration, and usage standards for approved AI assistants and emerging technologies.
• Work with colleagues to develop cross-functional expertise and provide backup support across multiple business systems.
• Monitor application health, validate system changes, support security and compliance initiatives, and maintain documentation that fosters long-term operational excellence.
• Proven experience in administering Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and other Atlassian products within an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in configuring workflows, permissions, screens, projects, and automation within the Atlassian platform for both agile (Scrum/Kanban) and traditional/waterfall teams.
• Hands-on experience with Jira Premium functionalities (Advanced Roadmaps, sandbox/release tracks, advanced permissions) in an enterprise context.
• Strong knowledge of platform governance, application administration, and change management methodologies.
• Experience in leading or supporting platform audits, migrations, or large-scale configuration consolidations.
• Skilled in building JQL filters, dashboards, and reports to enhance stakeholder visibility.
• Experience in supporting integrations between various business applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues while preserving security and data integrity.
• Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn about new enterprise applications, including ERP systems, Salesforce, and AI platforms.
• Strong documentation, training, and communication abilities, with experience assisting non-technical users in adopting new tools.
• Proven ability to work effectively across both technical and non-technical teams.
• Atlassian Certified Professional (Jira Administrator) is preferred but not mandatory.
• U.S. citizenship and authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
