This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct and lead reviews to ensure effective underwriting, documentation, compliance, reporting, and financial activities.

• Assess compliance of rates and forms for a sample of policies to identify discrepancies from state-approved filings.

• Execute underwriting file reviews to evaluate compliance with established underwriting guidelines, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.

• Recognize and communicate potential risks, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate these issues.

• Oversee the execution of open recommendations and follow up with responsible parties as necessary.

• Foster positive and value-adding relationships with Members and the Company’s senior management team.

• Analyze data to identify errors and select meaningful samples based on various criteria.

• Review the monthly premium trust transactional report.

• Stay informed about updates to laws and regulations relevant to Insurance Underwriting & Compliance.

• Contribute to the development and upkeep of Review policies, procedures, and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant audit experience within a property and casualty insurance company is required, ideally at an MGA, MGU, or program administrator.

• Prior underwriting and/or rating experience with a commercial insurance carrier is preferred.

• A strong understanding of insurance operations, including underwriting, claims, and policy administration.

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Familiarity with AI tools, including hands-on experience applying them for workflow automation or AI-assisted problem-solving.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and communication skills (both written and oral).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Some travel is necessary.
