This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Develop and implement the commercial strategy while overseeing execution in a region where Agilent primarily engages customers through a direct sales approach.
• Ensure optimal coverage, capability, and operational discipline to facilitate sustainable growth, enhance customer relationships, and provide an exceptional end-customer experience within the HDx portfolio.
• Enhance field coverage, prioritize accounts, and focus commercially to strengthen customer engagement, increase wallet share, and broaden Agilent’s footprint in Western Europe.
• Drive consistent performance by establishing clear targets, maintaining robust forecasting, enforcing pipeline discipline, and managing KPIs — thereby improving growth, conversion rates, and margin quality throughout the region.
• Ensure that the limited distributor and value-added reseller partnerships in Western Europe are strategically aligned, effectively governed, and complementary to the direct sales model.
• A Master's degree (MSc) in Life Sciences, Biology, Diagnostics, or a related discipline is mandatory; a PhD and/or MBA is advantageous.
• Extensive commercial leadership experience (10+ years) in healthcare, diagnostics, life sciences, or other regulated and technically demanding sectors, preferably in a multi-country Western European context.
• A demonstrated history of leading direct sales teams, achieving revenue growth, enhancing forecast accuracy, and driving disciplined execution across intricate regional markets.
• Strong strategic and operational skills with the capacity to balance regional priorities, key account management, commercial excellence, and selective channel management where indirect coverage is present.
• Profound comprehension of customer needs and market dynamics in Healthcare and Diagnostics, including the ability to interact credibly with senior customer stakeholders and internal business partners.
• Full command of the English language.
• Fluency in an additional Western European language is considered a benefit.
