This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of and execute essential operational processes that drive our platform, focusing on public and private market investments (including buy/sell trades, reconciliation, corporate actions, capital calls, and NAV updates), customer onboarding and risk evaluation, account management, and money transfers.
• Collaborate with our Operations, Member Success, Product, Compliance, and Engineering teams to:
• Anticipate future business requirements;
• Develop workflows and address edge cases to operationalize new products; and
• Improve critical processes while considering factors such as cost, implementation complexity, regulatory compliance, and other pertinent risks.
• Coordinate efforts with internal and external partners to investigate operational challenges and implement preventive strategies.
• Establish data reporting workflows to monitor key operational metrics and fulfill regulatory reporting responsibilities.
• 3-4+ years of experience in business operations within the financial services sector, preferably in investments managing a range of asset classes.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing comprehensive operational processes with suitable controls.
• Strong technical problem-solving abilities: Enjoy identifying root causes and dissecting complex challenges.
• You excel in a startup-like setting where ambiguity is common. You are adept at adjusting to changing priorities, navigating complex problem spaces, conducting experiments, and maintaining a positive outlook amidst change.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.
