
Associate Technical Director, Archaeology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer technical direction and oversight for projects related to archaeology and cultural resources.
• Ensure adherence to relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage project review processes and track project milestones along with reporting timelines.
• Assist the Technical Director in the enhancement and maintenance of report templates and technical guidance documents.
• Supervise, mentor, and facilitate the development of archaeological personnel.
• Aid in the creation of proposals, project scoping, budget planning, scheduling, and pricing strategies.
• Engage in client meetings and industry events to foster business development.
• Master's Degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, Historic Preservation, Cultural Resources Management, or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 6 years of full-time professional experience in archaeology.
• Proven experience in managing archaeological projects and personnel within federal, state, and local regulatory frameworks.
• Principal Investigator qualifications in one or more states are preferred.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as necessary.
• Excellent technical writing, editing, and quality assurance skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cultural resource management practices, archaeological field techniques, and historic preservation regulations, including NHPA, Section 106, and NEPA.
