Associate Systems Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the performance and availability of applications and infrastructure utilizing AppDynamics, LogicMonitor, and Azure Monitor.

• Perform health assessments and optimize the performance of SQL databases.

• Manage the functionality and performance of Windows servers and IIS, implementing configurations and updates as needed.

• Supervise interface subsystems to ensure smooth data flow and connectivity.

• Provide Level 1 support for incidents, troubleshoot issues, and escalate as required.

• Keep documentation updated for system configurations, procedures, and incident management responses.

• Engage in root cause analysis to avert future issues and enhance reliability.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams for upgrades, patches, and configuration changes while minimizing downtime.

• Ensure 24/7 system uptime and respond to alerts and incidents to adhere to SLAs.

• Remain informed on industry trends and suggest improvements to monitoring processes and tools.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• 1-3 years of experience in a systems monitoring and support capacity.

• Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics, LogicMonitor, and Azure Monitor.

• Basic understanding of SQL databases, including monitoring and troubleshooting methods.

• Knowledge of Windows Server administration and IIS management.

• Experience in monitoring server uptime, performance metrics, and managing alerts.

• Proficient in diagnosing system issues and conducting root cause analysis.

• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.

• Willingness to work in a 24x7 environment (9 or 12-hour shifts), including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as necessary.

• Familiarity with ITIL best practices and frameworks.

• Knowledge of healthcare applications is a plus.
