This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Evaluate supply chain, commodity, purchasing, and proposal information to facilitate data-driven business and program decisions.
• Develop and sustain dashboards and reports that monitor lead times, on-time delivery, design-to-cost performance, requisition timing, and other essential supply chain metrics.
• Assist in proposal creation by tracking target costs, verifying bid inputs, and aiding business units in evaluating trends and risks associated with mechanical and electrical commodities.
• Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, program teams, and cross-functional partners to enhance communication, expedite orders, and proactively address potential challenges.
• Prepare requests for quotations and assist in collecting pricing, scheduling, and sourcing information from suppliers.
• Ensure the accuracy of purchasing records, documentation, and system data, including invoices, purchase orders, logs, and other relevant files.
• Discover opportunities to consolidate requisitions and enhance pricing leverage while promoting more efficient purchasing processes.
• Utilize Power BI, Power Query, and Power Pivot to convert raw data into clear, actionable insights for supply chain and business performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related discipline; a combination of education and experience will also be considered.
• 0–2 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, business analysis, proposal support, or a comparable field.
• Fundamental understanding of supply chain tools, processes, and basic purchasing principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to organize data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Familiarity with reporting and performance metrics utilized to evaluate program, commodity, or operational performance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with the ability to thrive in data-driven environments and quickly learn reporting platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effective collaboration across functions.
• Ability to maintain accuracy, manage multiple priorities, and work efficiently in a team-oriented setting.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or other high-tech environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, and Power Pivot for data analysis and reporting is preferred.
• Understanding of business functions such as finance, contracting, logistics, manufacturing, or engineering is preferred.
• Awareness of government or export-related requirements such as DoD, ITAR, EAR, FAR, or DFARS is preferred.
• Interest in gaining expertise in supplier performance, commodity trends, and cross-functional program support is preferred.
• Must be within a commutable distance of Melbourne, FL is preferred.
