This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Act as the Enterprise Solution Architect for the SAP SCM functional domain, providing design direction across Production Planning, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Warehouse Management, Shop Floor Control, and MES/Engineering integration.
• Collaborate with Business Process Owners (BPOs) to recognize, prioritize, and define process requirements, striking a balance between new initiatives and the support of existing processes and integrations.
• Take ownership of the functional roadmap for SAP SCM, which encompasses assessing the transition needs from SAP ECC to S/4HANA and designing IBP processes.
• Oversee the execution of SAP SCM projects from requirements gathering to go-live, coordinating with Application Management Services (AMS) support processes.
• Establish and monitor delivery metrics (such as ticket resolution time, project on-time rate, and system uptime) and communicate status to IT and business leadership.
• Manage relationships with implementation partners and AMS vendors involved in the SCM functional area.
• Lead the SAP SCM functional team, encompassing hiring, onboarding, development planning, and conducting annual performance evaluations.
• Determine team priorities and workload to enhance efficiency, productivity, and timely delivery of business value.
• Mentor team members in both technical expertise and stakeholder-facing abilities.
• Oversee team capacity planning and staffing recommendations, directly influencing the resource planning process.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.
• Over 20 years of overall experience in SAP SCM/ERP, including hands-on expertise in SCM modules (PP, QM, WM), MES integration, and managing enterprise-level solution architecture and roadmaps for a multi-module ERP portfolio.
• At least 10 years of that overall experience should involve hands-on work with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, configuration, and best practices.
• At least 10 years of that overall experience should include integrating SAP with non-SAP systems (for example, Ariba, Concur, Workday).
• A minimum of 7 years of direct people management experience leading a technical or functional team, including responsibilities for hiring, performance management, and development planning.
• Preferred qualifications include SAP certification(s) in PP, QM, WM, or IBP — although these are not mandatory.
• Previous experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments related to nuclear industries is advantageous.
