Associate Solutions Architect, French or German Fluency

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to GitLab prospects and customers on how the DevSecOps platform meets their technical needs and business goals throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Assist organizations in navigating their digital transformation journeys from the planning stage to monitoring.

• Take ownership of technical evaluations, including proof of value initiatives and workshops.

• Design solution architectures and offer strategic solution advice.

• Collaborate with Account Executives and cross-functional teams in Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing.

• Promote successful platform adoption and drive revenue growth through effective solution selling.

• Develop and implement sales strategies to surpass revenue objectives.

• Educate SMB customers about GitLab’s value proposition and facilitate successful deployments.

• Lead the ownership of POC/POV, support RFP/audit processes, design workshops, and conduct value stream assessments.

• Cultivate customer relationships and empower GitLab advocates.

• Act as the customer representative to Product Development, Sales, and Marketing teams.

• Enhance professional and technical abilities through training, reading, mentorship, and certification.

• Maintain specialized knowledge and create reusable technical examples for internal teams, customers, and partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience in customer engagement within pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles.

• A strong understanding or eagerness to learn about the complete software development lifecycle, modern DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD workflows.

• Practical understanding of cloud computing concepts and related technologies.

• Capability to lead proofs of concept/value, participate in tenders or audits, and design and facilitate workshops or value stream assessments.

• Excellent technical communication and presentation skills, adaptable for different audiences from practitioners to senior business and technical decision-makers.

• Ability to build trusted relationships, listen empathetically, and serve as a customer advocate.

• A strong desire for continuous professional development and learning new technologies.

• Fluency in German or French is desirable.
