Associate Software Engineer, Python, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of AI applications utilizing Python.

• Collaborate with team members to grasp requirements and implement features.

• Acquire knowledge in using Pydantic for defining and validating data models.

• Write clean, well-documented code with guidance from experienced developers.

• Engage in code reviews and apply constructive feedback.

• Aid in troubleshooting and resolving basic technical challenges.

• Support testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

• Collaborate with seasoned developers on actual projects under their guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in developing enterprise-level software.

• Proficient knowledge of Python programming.

• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and REST APIs.

• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and AI coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.

• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Node.js is an advantage.

• A strong desire to learn about the Python ecosystem, including frameworks and libraries.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.

• A proactive attitude towards learning and openness to feedback.

• Capability to work well within a team and follow directions effectively.

• Prior exposure to version control systems (Git) and testing methodologies is preferred.

• Familiarity with backend development or data engineering concepts is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is advantageous.
