Associate Social & Community Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Publish approved content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other emerging channels according to the schedule set by your Director.

• Ensure daily posting remains consistent and timely to keep channels active while establishing the brand's presence.

• Assist in executing short-form series and content production across organic channels.

• Uphold a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all social media platforms, adhering to established brand guidelines.

• Manage incoming assets from photoshoots, the contracted AD/Producer, and the Brand Designer by organizing, labeling, and preparing them for use.

• Monitor briefs and deliverables from creative contributors, ensuring projects progress smoothly and identifying any blockers or missing assets.

• Maintain an organized and up-to-date content calendar and asset library.

• Provide light design assistance, including resizing, cropping, creating templated graphics, formatting captions, and assembling stories/posts using Canva or similar tools.

• Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and inquiries across all social media platforms.

• Promote genuine engagement with our audience and early brand advocates while upholding brand standards.

• Escalate customer service issues or sensitive matters to the relevant internal teams.

• Assist with scheduling, logistics, and content tracking for creator and influencer collaborations, including ongoing series.

• Keep organized records of creator deliverables, assets, and posting schedules.

• Track basic engagement, growth, and content performance metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3+ years of experience in a social media coordinator, marketing coordinator, or a similar support role.

• Practical experience in publishing and managing content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

• Familiarity with content calendars, approval workflows, and managing multiple briefs or deliverables simultaneously.

• Comfortable with light design tasks in tools like Canva (templated graphics, resizing, and caption/story formatting).

• Exceptional written communication skills and strong organizational abilities.

• Comfortable appearing on camera occasionally and participating in content shoots as required.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage environment, taking clear direction while contributing to the establishment of structure where it may be lacking.
