
Associate Site Payments Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.
• Assist in managing studies by ensuring that project goals are achieved and services are delivered in accordance with the highest quality standards, policies, and procedures. Raise project risks as needed.
• Organize and communicate specific study tasks and project priorities to team members.
• Analyze and interpret various financial reports while overseeing project finances.
• Educate study teams on the site payment process, setting clear expectations regarding payment requirements and deliverables.
• Produce reports for study-level KPIs and metrics; assess and interpret the data. Bring any performance concerns to management's attention.
• Participate in internal team meetings and share updates regarding payment statuses.
• Handle escalations from the project team, site, and sponsor related to payment issues.
• May process payments in accordance with procedural documents and site contracts. May also create and input budgets and SVTs; work on transparency reporting; perform study reconciliations; and manage the investigator funds tracker for studies transitioned to site payments.
• May review and authorize payments, budgets, and/or reconciliations in line with procedural documents and site contracts.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
• Prior experience that equips the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role (equivalent to 0 to 2 years).
• Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Adaptable and capable of reprioritizing workload to meet evolving project demands.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and CTMS, EDC, or financial systems.
• Experience working within a project matrix structure.
• Competent in mentoring and coaching others.
• Strong communication skills, including proficiency in English (both oral and written), with additional languages being an asset (if applicable).
• Able to extract relevant information from study documentation such as protocols, contracts, budgets, etc., and perform data entry and review of such documents.
• Capable of effectively analyzing project-specific data/systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Basic understanding of country regulatory and/or applicable tax regulations.
