This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Prepare, assess, negotiate, and finalize amendments and budgets with study sites.
• Negotiate investigator grant budgets and contractual terms within established parameters.
• Ensure adherence to negotiation parameters, approval authorities, contractual processes, client expectations, budgetary guidelines, templates, and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal functional departments on site startup activities and contractual timelines.
• Align contract negotiations with the critical path for site activation.
• Meet target cycle times for site activations.
• Efficiently escalate out-of-parameter issues according to established guidelines and processes.
• Complete necessary tracking and reporting.
• Support other specialists with tracking and reporting tasks.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and directly related experience.
• Basic understanding of clinical trial agreements.
• Fundamental ability to apply principles of investigator grant negotiation.
• General knowledge of business and financial principles associated with service agreements.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting.
• Good organizational and time management abilities.
• Familiarity with PPD SOPs and WPDs.
• Capable of managing competing priorities and assessing contractual risks and issues.
• Proficient in using automated systems and computerized applications.
• Customer-focused communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work upright and/or stationary for 6–8 hours per day.
• Capable of frequent mobility, occasional crouching and stooping, as well as frequent bending and twisting.
• Ability to lift and carry 15–20 lbs.
• Regular and consistent attendance is required.
• Ability to perform under stress and multitask effectively.
