
Associate Senior Counsel, Real Estate – Global Real Estate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Review and prepare documentation for both newly leased and existing owned corporate facilities.
• Negotiate and draft leases, subleases, purchase and sale agreements, and other commercial real estate documents, including estoppels and subordination, non-disturbance, and attornment agreements.
• Manage disputes between landlords and tenants, which includes preparing and responding to demand letters.
• Provide consultation and advice on corporate strategies for leasing, acquisition, and disposition.
• Oversee property tax issues with local government entities for facilities that are owned.
• As necessary, manage and coordinate legal services from external counsel.
• Provide legal support related to real estate investment matters and other special projects in real estate as required.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with an active license to practice law.
• At least 8 years of experience in commercial real estate law, encompassing leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions.
• Significant hands-on experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial real estate leases as a primary responsibility.
• Proven ability to manage a substantial volume of lease agreements, including amendments, renewals, and related documentation.
• Experience in supporting a large, multi-location corporate real estate portfolio is preferred.
• Demonstrated capability to independently handle end-to-end real estate legal matters with minimal supervision.
• Strong skills in identifying and mitigating risks, especially in lease negotiations and landlord-tenant issues.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and function effectively in a complex, matrixed environment.
