• The Associate Scientific Director (ASD) at BOLDSCIENCE plays an essential role within the Scientific Services senior team.

• They possess outstanding technical writing capabilities and extensive experience in medical communications.

• An ASD serves as a primary point of contact for clients, earning their trust as a reliable partner.

• They are not afraid to respectfully challenge clients when necessary, offering valuable suggestions and recommendations.

• They have the ability to interpret client needs into strategic objectives and convey these to the team for the successful execution of deliverables.

• An ASD demonstrates exceptional communication skills and effectively leads a small to medium-sized team, ensuring that high editorial standards are consistently maintained.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced, doctoral-level degree (Ph.D., M.D., PharmD, etc.)

• 5–7 years of experience in the medical communications sector

• Proficiency in more than one therapy area, along with broad experience applicable to new challenges

• Outstanding scientific and editorial skills, coupled with refined communication abilities

• Proven experience in cultivating strong relationships with clients and healthcare professionals (HCPs)

• Capability to critically evaluate deliverables for scientific accuracy and integrity

• Experience in coaching and mentoring junior writers

• A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for exploring new approaches

• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple deadlines effectively

• Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical industry standards and compliance requirements.
