• Comprehending the complete range of products, surgical specialties, and devices within the portfolio.
• Advocating for and advancing our Surgical Portfolio within a designated geography to fulfill customer clinical and economic requirements.
• Key points of contact include surgeons, nurses, and operating room personnel.
• Engaging with your existing client base and following up with current customers for additional purchases, pricing or delivery concerns, and overall support to enhance their experience.
• Independently developing and executing selling strategies to market products of moderate complexity directly to customers via phone and in-person.
• Gaining insight into the competitive advantages of the portfolio and conveying this information to customers to aid in their product choices.
• Planning and fulfilling customer sales call targets while following up on opportunities to grow the business.
• Conducting extensive prospecting, lead generation, and follow-up for sales teams; assisting with the arrangement of product demonstrations for customers as needed.
• Promoting clinical adoption across the product portfolio through product trials, demonstrations, and training sessions to enhance customers’ engagement with their portfolio.
• Assisting with site visits, product fairs, and mock room setups, as required.
• Logging activities and contacts within Salesforce.com and ensuring that all information remains up-to-date and relevant.
• Bachelor's degree preferred with over 2 years of experience, or at least 2 years in an inside or field sales position within the healthcare or a comparable industry.
• Strong preference for candidates with medical device experience.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Familiarity with clinical workflows and clinical terminology, as well as the hospital setting, is advantageous.
• Proficient in computer applications, particularly with a solid understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
• Outstanding formal presentation skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a clear and articulate phone presence.
• Must be adaptable, self-sufficient, and capable of collaborating with various team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Willingness and ability to travel 50-75% of the time, which may include visits to remote or urban areas either individually or alongside other personnel.
