This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Surpasses sales targets within a designated territory by ensuring timely delivery of Acumed products and offering superior technical support in the operating room.
• Aids in evaluating the customer base to uncover new business prospects and implements a focused sales strategy.
• Carries out business plans to pinpoint and secure new business opportunities.
• Assesses the requirements of potential clients and crafts suitable responses to meet or surpass those needs through written, telephone, and face-to-face interactions.
• Conducts field sales visits for assigned accounts and territories, including “on-call” and operating room consultations.
• Ensures exceptional post-sale follow-up with accounts, managing communication regarding delivery timelines, in-service training, and coordinating product restocking.
• Engages current and prospective customer accounts on various subjects, including product updates, modifications to Acumed’s product offerings, and medical education programs.
• Promotes additional products and introduces new items to both existing and new accounts as they become available.
• Enhances customer satisfaction and resolves issues by addressing any concerns or problems that arise with assigned accounts in a timely manner.
• Maintains customer records in line with Acumed standards using the Company's CRM tool.
• Upholds compliance and adheres to the ethical principles of the AdvaMed code of conduct by safeguarding information privacy, protecting organizational assets, acting with integrity, reporting non-compliance, and following all relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Receives training in sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Stays informed about the medical device industry, Acumed clients, and competitive market trends.
• Actively engages in and attends trade shows, sales meetings, promotional events, and professional association gatherings as required, both during and outside regular business hours.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (preferably business or a medical discipline) or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of proven successful sales experience (preferably in the medical device industry).
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with physicians and other surgical staff.
• Experience in developing and nurturing relationships with surgeons and hospitals in the respective areas.
• Must be comfortable in emergency and operating room settings.
• Must be able to obtain necessary credentials for hospital access.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Credentialing Required: This position involves frequent visits and observations in surgical settings. The incumbent must obtain the credentials mandated by the hospital.
