This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Surpasses sales targets within a designated territory by ensuring timely delivery of Acumed products and offering exceptional technical support in the operating room.
• Aids in evaluating the customer base to uncover new business prospects and implements a focused sales strategy for each identified opportunity, actively ensuring that all leads are appropriately pursued.
• Implements business strategies to discover and secure new business opportunities.
• Recognizes the needs of potential customers and formulates/delivers suitable responses to meet or exceed those needs (via written communication, telephone, and in-person interactions).
• Conducts field sales visits for assigned accounts and territories, which includes being "on-call" and providing consultation in the operating room.
• Ensures excellent post-sale follow-up with accounts (including communication and management of delivery schedules, in-service training, and coordination of product restocking).
• Engages with current and prospective customer accounts on various subjects such as product updates, modifications to Acumed’s product lineup, and medical education programs.
• Promotes additional products and introduces new offerings to existing and prospective accounts as they become available.
• Enhances customer satisfaction and resolves issues by addressing any concerns or problems that arise with assigned accounts in a timely manner.
• Maintains customer records in compliance with Acumed standards using the company’s CRM system.
• Upholds compliance and adherence to the AdvaMed code of conduct by safeguarding the confidentiality of information, protecting organizational assets, acting ethically and with integrity, reporting non-compliance, and following relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Receives training in sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Acquires up-to-date knowledge of the medical device industry, Acumed clients, and competitive market trends.
• Actively engages in and participates in tradeshows, sales meetings, promotional events, and professional association gatherings as required, both during and outside of regular business hours.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (preferably in business or a medical discipline) or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of proven successful sales experience (preferably within the medical device sector or related industry).
• Outstanding analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in effectively communicating with physicians and other surgical professionals.
• Experience in developing and sustaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals in the respective regions.
• Understanding of principles and techniques for demonstrating, promoting, and selling products or services.
• Must be at ease in emergency and operating room settings.
• Must be able to obtain necessary credentialing for hospital access.
