This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• The individual will be responsible for conducting sales calls to surgeons across various specialties, as well as engaging with operating room management, nursing staff, supply chain professionals, and administrative personnel.
• The individual must effectively communicate the numerous advantages of utilizing CooperSurgical products in surgical practices and operating rooms.
• The individual is required to prepare weekly and monthly sales and activity reports and submit them to their Regional Manager promptly and thoroughly.
• The individual must strategize and implement their sales plan to achieve the sales and business objectives set for their designated region and territory.
• The individual must fulfill the product training requirements and understand the surgical applications of those products. They are expected to pass both interim and final assessments and demonstrate to Training and Sales Management their clinical and product knowledge, proficiency in explaining proper assembly, usage, clinical application, and maintenance of the instrumentation in accordance with Company Standards. They must also show their capability to train physicians, nursing, and cleaning and sterilization personnel on the proper use and upkeep of the products to the satisfaction of Training and Sales Management.
• The individual must keep their certification in Operating Room Protocol for Health Care Representatives, Bloodborne Pathogens exposure, and HIPAA regulations up to date as required. Additionally, they must maintain necessary medical documentation and a well-documented health profile to meet customer requirements within their territory.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.
• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Entry-level candidates with 0-2 years of documented and verifiable sales experience, preferably in a hospital/operating room environment or clinical experience in Labor & Delivery, are encouraged to apply.
• Proven track record of increasing sales in previous positions is essential.
• Positive feedback from both business and personal references is required.
• Must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time in any given month.
• The individual must also maintain medical documentation and a well-documented health profile to ensure compliance with customer requirements within their territory.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
