This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Oversee the complete execution of projects from start to finish.
• Develop and uphold project plans that encompass scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
• Facilitate coordination among development, permitting, engineering, construction, and commissioning stages.
• Assist in the creation and execution of EPC contracts while monitoring contractor performance to meet expectations.
• Track risks, issues, and milestones to ensure projects remain on target with delivery objectives.
• Collaborate with Contractors and Stakeholders.
• Work alongside EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to sustain alignment and progress.
• Oversee contractor deliverables to guarantee compliance with contractual obligations, schedules, and quality benchmarks.
• Conduct project meetings, document critical decisions, and ensure action items are completed.
• Facilitate Change Management and Reporting.
• Manage construction documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and technical deliverables.
• Keep accurate and well-organized project records to aid compliance and informed decision-making.
• Create clear status updates, dashboards, and reports for internal stakeholders and leadership.
• Assist in Cost Management and Schedule Delivery.
• Monitor project financials, including invoices, purchase orders, and budget updates.
• Coordinate procurement efforts and ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Assess contractor change requests and maintain precise change logs.
• Drive Technical Integration and Quality.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate EPC designs, submissions, and construction plans.
• Align various cross-functional disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, civil, and control systems.
• Support compliance with safety standards, permitting requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a closely related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in project engineering, construction, or project management within power plants, energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience in supporting complete project lifecycles, covering development, permitting, engineering, construction, and commissioning.
• Familiarity with EPC environments, including contract development, execution, and management of contractor performance.
• Working knowledge of construction administration processes such as RFIs, submissions, and change management.
• Experience contributing to large-scale capital projects, including participation in at least two full lifecycle projects from start-up to handoff.
• Exposure to field execution, including construction, commissioning, or start-up activities.
• Familiarity with OEM and balance-of-plant equipment, such as turbines or reciprocating engines, is advantageous.
• Proficient in tools like Google Workspace, Bluebeam, and collaboration platforms such as Slack.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to convert technical information into clear, executive-ready insights.
• A proactive approach with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
