Associate Project Manager, Early Phase

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Acts as a vital member of the Early Phase Project Management Team at Emerald Clinical.

• Delivers project management expertise for both commercial and academic research studies.

• Collaborates across various functions to achieve successful project results.

• Oversees study management activities, including team leadership, client communication, financial oversight, and overall study execution.

• Develops, conducts, and finalizes research projects under the guidance of an experienced Project Manager or Portfolio Delivery Leader.

• Coordinates project activities in line with project-specific documentation, relevant SOPs, ICH GCP, and regulatory standards.

• Fosters strong professional relationships with external clients, investigators, and vendors.

• Assists in identifying project-specific tasks that require outsourcing and participates in the selection of appropriate vendors.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a science or related field.

• Prior experience in clinical projects within an academic, CRO, or pharmaceutical company setting.

• Relevant work experience for this position is typically around five (5) years within the industry.

• Previous experience as a CRA or in site management, trial coordination, or other relevant industry roles is preferred.

• Experience supervising project-related tasks performed by others.

• Prior exposure to client-facing roles and/or client management is desirable.

• Strong knowledge of, and capacity to implement project activities in compliance with, ICH/GCP and all applicable regulations and guidelines in the relevant regions.
