This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Establish robust relationships with internal stakeholders and clients to promote collaboration and trust.
• Engage in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and strategic discussions.
• Keep informed about Ciena’s offerings, services, and industry developments.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at boosting efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist in the planning, tracking, and management of project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and schedules.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, which includes status reports, meeting notes, and risk assessments.
• Help identify potential risks and suggest mitigation strategies to guarantee successful project completion.
• Support in resource allocation and scheduling to meet project needs.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Aid in the onboarding of new clients by offering training, resources, and guidance on Ciena products and services.
• Monitor client feedback and proactively resolve concerns or issues to enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with the Customer Success team to formulate strategies for improving customer retention and engagement.
• Assist in the development of customer-facing materials, such as presentations, guides, and reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or Communications preferred, or relevant years of work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in the technology sector in a role associated with project management, customer engagement, or customer success, ideally within Services.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
• Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• A customer-centric attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
• Capability to work collaboratively in a team setting and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
