Associate Project Manager, Civil Engineering – Land Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Project Collaboration: You will work closely with Project Managers, helping them in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing both preliminary and final site plans along with construction documents.

• Data Maestro: Engage with project survey data to assess existing site conditions, scrutinizing legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents. You will be the primary expert for all data-related inquiries.

• Mentorship and Guidance: Assume a leadership role by mentoring and supporting junior staff. Ensure that project-based assignments are carried out accurately and efficiently, fostering the talents of the next generation.

• Technical Guru: Leverage your engineering expertise to create a diverse array of reports, opinions, and recommendations. Your technical skills will be showcased through hydrology/hydraulic studies, project schedules, and storm sewer reports.

• Construction Support: Deliver crucial construction-related services while supervising junior team members. From permit applications to quantity estimates, you will be instrumental in transforming plans into reality.

• Engineering Software Whiz: You will excel in AutoCAD Civil 3D and various engineering software packages. Your proficiency will ensure timely and budget-conscious completion of assignments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

• PE Required

• Proven experience managing projects, including client interactions

• Required experience in the commercial private development industry

• Minimum of six (6) years of related experience

• Willingness to make frequent site visits across different states
