This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer graphic production expertise and administrative assistance to the creative director, graphic designer, and internal teams.
• Design marketing assets for digital platforms, including Amazon, social media, and websites.
• Create and prepare materials to support authors, such as PowerPoint templates and author videos.
• Prepare front cover designs and distribute them to archives and relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with external vendors to ensure the completion and distribution of front covers.
• Oversee the design, proofing, and production of back covers and audiobook covers.
• Update backlist title covers for reprints.
• Provide print-ready production files to printing vendors.
• Approve production proofs.
• Distribute digital author photographs to archives and relevant stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain IVP’s visual identity and branding standards.
• Assist with the Bynder archive and collaborate with the IVP Production Artist responsible for the archive.
• Purchase rights-managed images as needed.
• Submit art licensing invoices to the accounting department.
• Communicate with and maintain art databases.
• Support Designers in their projects.
• Organize systems, equipment, and Microsoft Teams workspaces.
• Facilitate digital asset management and establish and maintain electronic archives of graphic files.
• Complete assigned projects within designated timelines.
• Perform administrative duties for the team.
• Finalize output for assigned projects in both print and digital formats.
• Cultivate relationships with print vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Respond to email inquiries, calendar invites, and instant messages.
• Collaborate with other teams, including graphic designers, on specific projects.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as necessary.
• Affirmation of InterVarsity’s Statement of Faith.
• Portfolio showcasing recent work.
• Proficient in technology and a fast learner.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop.
• Experience with HTML is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and ClickUp is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage workload and work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Capability to communicate effectively in remote and hybrid environments using cloud-based project management tools.
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Proven ability and commitment to working in a diverse team setting.
• Discretion with confidential information.
• Willingness to attend the Urbana Student Missions Conference every six years, from Dec. 26 to Jan. 1.
• Availability to attend the National Staff Conference every three years, approximately from Jan. 2 to Jan. 7.
• Preferred: Associate Degree in Art or Design.
• At least 1 year of experience working with print files preferred for Associate Production Artist, Level 4.
