Associate Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive outcomes - develop, improve, and sustain the auto product in designated states; systematically establish rate levels, tailor franchise products, inform underwriting decisions, manage state-specific nuances, and pursue project timelines to attain profitable growth.

• Analyze performance - create reporting and maintain awareness of key performance indicators as they evolve in designated states, escalating issues and recommending adjustments as necessary; provide and share analytical expertise across the broader state management team.

• Navigate the competitive landscape - comprehend emerging market trends, competitor offerings, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.

• Manage external relationships - oversee relationships with Departments of Insurance and other stakeholders during filings, market conduct examinations, and as we refine and advance our insurance products.

• Collaborate across the organization - build relationships with marketing, claims, underwriting, and distribution teams to ensure successful outcomes for those functions within designated markets; keep key stakeholders updated regarding the status of significant initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; professional certifications related to insurance are advantageous.

• Practical experience with analytical methods to evaluate data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights; familiarity with SQL-based data analysis is preferred.

• Over 3 years of experience in the insurance sector, ideally in product management, underwriting, analytics, or a related role within personal lines insurance.

• Unwavering focus on business results.

• Proficient in effective communication across functions, succinctly summarizing conclusions drawn from technical analysis.
