Associate Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders such as customers, agents, operations, field teams, and business leads to pinpoint workflow challenges.

• Document opportunities as organized briefs rather than basic ticket descriptions.

• Utilize AI to synthesize inputs, recognize patterns, and transform ambiguity into actionable solutions.

• Develop functional proofs-of-concept using LLM APIs, automation tools, or simple scripts.

• Assess whether an AI-first approach effectively addresses the problem.

• Deliver quickly and learn even faster.

• Create precise, handoff-ready documentation including use cases, flowcharts, PRDs, and system requirements.

• Implement AI in documentation workflows while ensuring accuracy by identifying potential AI-generated errors.

• Coordinate releases, oversee testing, and monitor adoption.

• Address stakeholder inquiries and issues through WhatsApp, ticketing systems, and email.

• Manage rollout sequencing and ensure team readiness.

• Identify repetitive business processes and automate them using dependable tools.

• Conduct regular analytics to track, monitor, and enhance product utilization.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and the development team throughout the product lifecycle.

• Keep stakeholders updated at every phase.

• Travel as necessary to Sun King markets, including Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Myanmar, and Tanzania.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering (required).

• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in product management, automation, or related technology fields.

• Practical experience with SQL.

• A GitHub profile or portfolio showcasing shipped prototypes, automations, or internal tools.

• Demonstrated foundation in LLM and AI (Anthropic courses, fast.ai, DeepLearning.AI, or equivalent self-learning).

• Experience working with data to monitor and enhance product usage.

• Ability to structure and analyze ambiguous problems.

• Strong communication skills across workflows, feature descriptions, Slack messages, and stakeholder updates.

• Proactive mindset and eagerness to engage hands-on.

• Detail-oriented with strong documentation capabilities.
