Associate Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interfaces for product features and improvements.

• Collaborate with senior product designers, product managers, and engineers to gain insights into user requirements, business objectives, and technical limitations.

• Implement design system standards for production-ready designs and contribute new components or enhance existing patterns.

• Leverage AI-assisted tools to brainstorm ideas, accelerate design workflow tasks, and enhance design quality while applying sound UX principles.

• Engage in design reviews, discussions with stakeholders, usability testing, and gathering user feedback.

• Organize design files, notes, and handoff documents for the Engineering team.

• Iterate designs based on feedback from users, stakeholders, engineers, and fellow designers.

• Generate and investigate various design concepts.

• Develop a deep understanding of products, users, workflows, and the business over time.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0–3 years of professional experience (including internships) in product design, UX design, UI design, interaction design, or a related area.

• A portfolio demonstrating your design process, understanding of UX/UI fundamentals, and capability to address product challenges.

• Proficient in Figma or comparable design and prototyping tools.

• Interest in utilizing AI-assisted tools in the design process, including exploration, prototyping, synthesis, documentation, and/or design iteration.

• Strong attention to detail in layout, interaction behavior, file organization, and design handoffs.

• Ability to ask insightful questions, articulate work clearly, and justify design decisions with support and guidance.

• Willingness to collaborate with product managers, engineers, stakeholders, and other designers.

• Curiosity regarding users, business workflows, and the potential for software to simplify complex processes.

• Must be able to work standard business hours, with occasional flexibility to accommodate participant research sessions.

• Travel may be required, up to 20% of the year.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
