This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Oversee the entire production process: manage in-country contacts and partner relationships, travel and shooting logistics for international field projects, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain a comprehensive plan: have a thorough understanding of the schedule, shooting structure, and key on-site contacts, ensuring alignment among all parties.
• Conduct research: compile sources and create research dossiers and outlines as needed.
• Handle pre-production logistics: manage travel arrangements, scheduling, locations, and access.
• Coordinate field activities: ensure that shoots run smoothly and remain on track on-site (some irregular hours may be necessary due to international filming).
• Oversee post-production processes: coordinate the transfer of footage, monitor edits, and ensure each video meets its delivery deadline.
• Manage partner deliverables: oversee partner timelines, approvals, and assets.
• Handle asset and delivery management: manage footage, files, and take ownership of the delivery schedule.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in documentary, video, or digital production.
• Strong skills in logistics and coordination.
• A keen interest in subjects such as geography, history, urban systems, and journalism.
• Dependable and self-motivated: capable of taking responsibility without needing constant supervision.
• Proficient with remote production coordination tools (such as Notion, Frame, or similar platforms).
• Bonus: experience in scriptwriting for documentaries.
• Familiarity with YouTube production, including field/location experience and a solid understanding of the YouTube documentary format.
• Contract on a per-video basis.
