Associate Principal Engineer – Salesforce Architect, Health Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the comprehensive architecture and delivery of Salesforce Health Cloud solutions for large-scale healthcare enterprises.

• Own the technical strategy, scalability, security, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations for Health Cloud.

• Convert healthcare business needs into scalable Salesforce Health Cloud solutions.

• Provide guidance to business stakeholders, architects, and senior leadership on the capabilities and best practices of Health Cloud.

• Drive architectural decisions regarding Salesforce core, Health Cloud extensions, integrations, data models, and automation.

• Define and manage integration architecture utilizing APIs, middleware, FHIR, and HL7 standards.

• Oversee requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

• Review and sanction technical designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.

• Enforce Salesforce best practices, optimize governor limits, enhance performance, and maintain code quality.

• Conduct design and code reviews while managing architectural risks and addressing technical debt.

• Lead and mentor Salesforce teams spread across multiple locations.

• Provide guidance on security, data access, sharing rules, consent management, and compliance matters.

• Collaborate with program managers on project scope, timelines, risks, and delivery commitments.

• Promote innovation and continuous improvement through proofs of concept and enhancements to the platform.

• Participate in roadmap planning, release strategies, and the long-term evolution of the platform.

• Support Agile sprint planning and release management processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Salesforce Health Cloud features, such as Patient/Member Profiles, Care Plans, Care Programs, Care Teams, Health Timelines, Assessments, Care Gaps, and Utilization Management.

• Proven experience in translating healthcare business requirements into effective Salesforce Health Cloud solutions.

• Proficiency in Salesforce core, Health Cloud extensions, integrations, data models, and automation processes.

• Practical experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs.

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, FHIR, and HL7 standards.

• Understanding of EHR/EMR integrations, payer/provider workflows, and management of the patient/member lifecycle.

• Experience with the Salesforce security model, data access, sharing rules, consent management, and compliance in healthcare.

• Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools, including Copado, Git, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.

• Experience in leading and mentoring multi-shore Salesforce teams, encompassing developers, administrators, QA, and offshore delivery teams.

• Strong background in Agile and Scaled Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of Life Sciences and Healthcare sectors.
