Associate Principal Engineer – Salesforce Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the complete Salesforce Health Cloud solution architecture and implementation for large-scale enterprise healthcare projects.

• Take ownership of the overall Health Cloud technical strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and adherence to HIPAA/PHI regulations.

• Convert intricate healthcare business requirements into scalable Salesforce Health Cloud solutions.

• Provide guidance to business stakeholders, architects, and senior leadership regarding Health Cloud functionalities and best practices.

• Drive architectural decisions encompassing Salesforce core, Health Cloud extensions, integrations, data models, and automation.

• Define and oversee integration architecture utilizing REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, FHIR, and HL7.

• Lead the requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.

• Review and authorize both high-level and low-level technical designs.

• Uphold Salesforce best practices, optimize governor limits, enhance performance, and ensure code quality.

• Provide technical governance, conduct design and code reviews, and manage architectural risks and technical debt.

• Lead and mentor geographically dispersed Salesforce teams, including developers, administrators, QA, and offshore delivery teams.

• Guide teams on Salesforce security, data access, sharing rules, consent management, and compliance.

• Collaborate with program managers regarding scope, timelines, risks, and delivery commitments.

• Foster innovation and continuous improvement through proofs of concept, new Health Cloud features, and platform enhancements.

• Engage in roadmap planning, release strategies, and the long-term evolution of the platform.

• Assist in sprint planning and release management within Agile and Scaled Agile frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Salesforce Health Cloud features, including Patient/Member Profiles, Care Plans, Care Programs, Care Teams, Health Timelines, Assessments, Care Gaps, and Utilization Management.

• Strong background in healthcare business analysis and solution architecture.

• Proficient in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs.

• Experience in defining integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, FHIR, and HL7.

• Solid understanding of EHR/EMR integrations, payer/provider workflows, and patient/member lifecycle management.

• Familiarity with Salesforce security models, data access, sharing rules, consent management, and healthcare compliance.

• Practical experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Copado, Git, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.

• Strong experience working in Agile and Scaled Agile environments.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management abilities.
