Associate – Power BI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and publish Power BI reports for the Light platform.

• Establish connections and model data from Microsoft Dataverse (Power Apps) and PostgreSQL as primary data sources.

• Maintain and refresh client-specific dashboard templates for various project types (standalone, recurring, multi-year).

• Configure and implement dashboards at organizational, focus-area, and program levels according to client specifications.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate data model updates into dashboards.

• Develop reusable semantic models by decoupling the data layer from visualization to minimize effort for each client.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in IT services.

• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in Power BI development (Desktop and Service).

• Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M).

• Experience in connecting Power BI to Microsoft Dataverse and relational databases.

• Comprehensive understanding of data modeling concepts — including star schema, relationships, and calculated tables.

• Capability to engage with non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into dashboards.
