Associate Network Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Growth leadership, Product, and Marketing teams to grasp the strategic direction, competitive positioning, and future objectives of Velera network solutions.

• Work alongside RVPs and CGEs to expand network reach within the current client base while maintaining existing network business.

• Support deal strategy concerning both existing and new clients, becoming well-versed in the debit/ATM network landscape.

• Provide market insights to Growth leadership, as well as the Marketing, Strategy, and Product Teams.

• Act as an industry expert, clearly communicating the overall network environment and Velera’s network features to both internal and external audiences.

• Conduct sales presentations, prepare supporting materials/analysis, and provide on-site client/prospect visit and call support in collaboration with NSE/CGE teams to further Velera's objectives.

• Ensure that client and competitor data is updated in the CRM tool, and assist with Opportunity creation and proposal requests as needed.

• Perform any other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in Financial Institution operations, marketing, sales, sales operations, platform, or member services is required.

• Experience in debit and ATM networks—sales, pricing, and competitive awareness.

• Professional communication skills, including writing, presentation, and speaking.

• Strong and confident presentation style.

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with the debit network landscape and related products, sales operations, and industry best practices in the credit union space.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to develop and implement strategies aligned with Velera's business objectives.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and demonstrated leadership skills.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.
