Associate, Network Contracting & Services – Central Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement contracting strategies under the guidance of the Network Director and/or Senior Manager, collaborating with Market Leaders to align with the company's overall network adequacy, development, and cost management goals.

• Oversee and negotiate contracts with designated healthcare providers, ensuring favorable terms that adhere to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of assigned provider contracts, pinpointing areas for enhancement and optimization.

• Leverage data and analytics regarding provider financial issues and competitor strategies to inform negotiation and contracting decisions.

• Achieve established metrics and SLAs, including but not limited to provider outreach and contract finalization.

• Work closely with the provider services team to facilitate servicing, education, and communication with our provider network.

• Monitor assigned networks to assess compliance with standards, and collaborate with network contracting and market leadership to develop corrective action plans to address deficiencies.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare client management, healthcare consulting, provider healthcare contracting, healthcare operations, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in supporting provider network strategy development and negotiating provider contracts.

• Over 1 year of experience conducting financial analyses on market or product lines, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive improvement opportunities.

• More than 1 year of experience in navigating and organizing large data sets, such as claims files and provider rosters.
