This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Oversee the Medical Information team staff who deliver services under the supervision of senior management.
• May participate in Global Medical Information initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Senior Management and other key stakeholders to support the achievement of both local and global goals and metrics.
• Execute and support operational decisions as directed by senior management.
• May contribute to and assist in global initiatives such as Change Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) Committees focusing on Retention, Engagement, training, and processes.
• Aid in implementing measures to assess and enhance employee engagement through local and/or global actions.
• Maintain consistent communication with direct reports to foster a supportive work environment.
• Supervise Medical Information staff in compliance with the organization’s policies and relevant regulations.
• Responsibilities entail planning, assigning, and directing work tasks.
• Assist management with project resource allocations, staff recruitment, and terminations in collaboration with operations specialist managers.
• Support staff training initiatives.
• Identify staff training and development needs in partnership with the Global Medical Information Lead and Countries Lead.
• Monitor and ensure that project processes and department deliverables meet established quality, financial, and productivity standards.
• Confirm that staff are trained on and adhere to required Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and project-level documentation.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline or allied life sciences.
• Experience in Medical Information.
• Willingness to broaden knowledge within the Medical Information service line and develop new skills.
• Skills in staff management, effective leadership, motivation, and influence.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize competing demands.
• Capability to mentor and coach others.
• Strong presentation, report writing, and customer service skills.
• Ability to achieve outcomes through communication and facilitation in a matrix service delivery environment with shared responsibilities.
• Sound judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
• Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
• Skill in planning workload based on available capacity and adjusting priorities according to workload changes.
• Ability to negotiate and find common ground that satisfies all involved stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work in shifts.
• 100% home-based.
