This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist with payor contracting functions, which includes reviewing, editing, and facilitating negotiations for agreements with both commercial and government payors.
• Oversee and track a portfolio of payor contracts to ensure effective performance, accurate implementation, and alignment with the organization’s objectives.
• Evaluate claims payments, reimbursement patterns, and operational challenges to pinpoint risks and aid in resolution initiatives.
• Act as a primary point of contact among physician practices, revenue cycle teams, legal, analytics, and other internal stakeholders regarding contracting and payor issues.
• Perform market and legislative research while utilizing strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities to bolster contracting strategy and decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree or a higher qualification in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in healthcare operations, payor contracting, contract management, project oversight, or process enhancement.
• Exceptional leadership, analytical, communication, and process improvement capabilities; familiarity with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and collaboration tools.
• Capacity to spearhead cross-functional projects, handle competing priorities, evaluate performance metrics, and uphold confidentiality in a dynamic environment.
