This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and coordinate all monthly project accounting activities.
• Analyze and reconcile new contracts while evaluating associated contracts/projects.
• Address and resolve issues regarding project tracking and funds in relation to project budgets.
• Establish new clients within accounting systems and maintain relevant files.
• Examine intercompany revenue and cost transactions, updating shared financial trackers accordingly.
• Oversee project revenues for business unit(s).
• Generate monthly project revenue forecasts and compare them against budgets/plans.
• Administer hours and expenses related to client projects.
• Handle client invoicing in accordance with contracts.
• Review and submit monthly client accruals.
• Evaluate project costs relative to contracted amounts.
• Oversee the setup and tracking of new employees and subcontractors' hours and expenses.
• A bachelor’s degree with a focus on accounting, finance, or business.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, including 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills.
• Experience in an agency or professional services setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with month-end closing processes.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles.
• Experience in project accounting.
• Background in client services or client-facing roles.
