Associate Manager, Category Leadership

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Evaluate category, shopper, and sales data to uncover growth opportunities and identify business risks.

• Convert insights into engaging customer narratives and suggestions regarding assortment, shelving, and distribution strategies.

• Create presentations for retailers, focusing on category reviews, new item selling propositions, and strategic business updates.

• Construct planograms and shelving suggestions utilizing JDA / Blue Yonder or similar space planning tools.

• Collaborate across departments with Sales, Shopper Insights, Category Strategy, and Sales Planning to provide actionable recommendations, foster alignment, and function as a reliable team partner.

⛳️ Requirements

• (Must have) A Bachelor’s degree.

• Four years of experience in CPG, category management, analytics, or a related field.

• Proficiency in building planograms using JDA / Blue Yonder or similar space planning software.

• Familiarity with syndicated and insights tools such as Circana, Numerator, Mintel, Gateway, or Power BI.

• Strong analytical abilities and advanced skills in Excel.

• Capability to transform data into concise, persuasive business narratives and retailer-ready recommendations.

• Experience analyzing category, shopper, consumer, or sales data.
