This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +4 more states.
• Assists senior analysts in the development of hospital, professional, and ASC contracts within the Epic system.
• Oversees underpayment accounts receivable for designated payors, including the successful recovery of underpaid accounts.
• Works in conjunction with the Revenue Cycle and Finance Teams on requests related to contract creation and analysis.
• Aids in conducting analyses to support the assessment of reimbursement impacts.
• Executes other responsibilities as assigned or necessary.
• At least an Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Background in finance, contracting, or data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Capability to analyze and interpret diverse data types, including financial results, operational metrics, clinical outcomes, and other essential datasets.
• Ability to manage large volumes of detailed data while highlighting strategic insights that could influence business operations and performance.
• Skill in balancing multiple projects simultaneously and managing time efficiently to meet set deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to independently advance key projects with guidance from supervisors or peer analysts.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Certification in Epic Expected Reimbursement Contracts.
• Experience with hospital, physician, and ASC contracts.
• Familiarity with the healthcare sector.
• Proficiency in R, Python, or other statistical/programming tools.
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry, especially regarding reimbursement methodologies for hospitals or other providers.
• Clinical experience or a general understanding of hospital/physician practice operations.
