Associate Language Specialist – Thai

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Translating general texts and materials within the Retail Marketing Business and Technical sectors from English to Thai.

• Reviewing the work produced by both in-house and external translators.

• Comprehending and adhering to SDL’s linguistic processes and procedures.

• Understanding and following the specific procedures required by each client.

• Delivering high-quality translations within stipulated deadlines.

• Effectively managing terminology.

• Utilizing translation tools proficiently.

• Conducting linguistic checks on Desktop Publishing outputs.

• Performing linguistic testing on software, help documents, and websites as needed.

• Proofreading documents when necessary.

• Serving as the Lead Translator to enhance communication and planning regarding the linguistic elements of one or more accounts.

• Offering comprehensive linguistic support to colleagues.

• Efficiently managing timesheets and work scheduling systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in the Retail Marketing Business and Technical fields (including marketing content, websites, brochures, e-Commerce, IT, user manuals across various domains, etc.).

• A degree in translation or a relevant combination of training and experience.

• Excellent organizational skills coupled with a keen attention to detail.

• Capacity to perform effectively under pressure.
