This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Addresses fundamental or tier 1 payment and account inquiries, including but not limited to card activations, payments, and updates to name and address information for cardholders (customers) of assigned company clients.
• Utilizes standardized or scripted replies by employing user-friendly Graphic User Interface (GUI) screens for client systems, along with established documentation and procedures.
• Inputs necessary data into systems and databases provided by the client.
• Identifies basic reasons for customer issues using a client-supplied decision tree and escalates or refers unresolved customer complaints and requests to more experienced Customer Service Representatives or designated departments for further examination and resolution.
• Begins to develop foundational knowledge and familiarity with products, policies, and procedures for a limited number of clients, as well as an understanding of association guidelines and compliance by frequently consulting online manuals and undertaking specific client training necessary to address cardholder inquiries.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in a call center or customer service environment.
• Basic computer and technology skills.
• Typically, no relevant experience is required.
• A remote office internet connection with a minimum download speed of 50Mbps and a minimum upload speed of 15Mbps is necessary.
