This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee Oklo’s legal responsibilities related to FERC, State PUC, and interconnection matters.
• Act as the company’s representative in various regulatory proceedings.
• Assist with interconnection agreements and related processes.
• Track and participate in regulatory rulemaking activities.
• Partner with government affairs to advance legislative initiatives.
• Aid in pre-construction regulatory and zoning activities, including environmental assessments and local permitting.
• Work in conjunction with Oklo’s nuclear regulatory team while concentrating on non-nuclear energy regulatory issues.
• Contribute to the development of regulatory strategies for Oklo’s advanced fission power facilities.
• 7–10 years of experience in energy regulation.
• Significant experience with FERC practices.
• Familiarity with State Public Utility Commission filings.
• Knowledge of generator interconnection processes.
• Background in energy-related public policy.
• Experience in legislative affairs.
• Proven ability to collaborate across different functions.
• Detail-oriented and adaptable attorney.
• Capacity to excel in a dynamic, high-growth setting.
