This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ This is a remote position, with preferred candidate locations including Milwaukee, Nashville, and Dallas.
β’ Oversee and assist with transactional and operational legal issues.
β’ Deliver practical and risk-aware legal guidance across a variety of areas such as contracts, acquisitions, target integration, corporate governance, employment law, intellectual property, limited securities law, insurance, and litigation.
β’ Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate an extensive array of legal documents.
β’ Perform legal research and effectively utilize AI tools.
β’ Manage legal projects and ensure that records are compliant.
β’ Maintain a positive demeanor and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing workplace.
β’ Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a law school accredited by the ABA.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance is advantageous but not mandatory.
β’ 8β10 years of experience in contract, employment, intellectual property, and transactional law.
β’ Prior experience as in-house counsel and/or in private practice is advantageous but not essential.
β’ Experience in the healthcare sector is desirable but not required.
β’ Prior experience with acquisitions and corporate governance is preferred.
β’ Valid license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal technology tools, including AI-assisted platforms.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ Outstanding organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
