This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Provide legal advice regarding healthcare regulatory, compliance, operational, and corporate issues.
β’ Draft, review, negotiate, and oversee contracts, agreements, and business transactions.
β’ Counsel leadership on legal risks and create practical, business-oriented solutions.
β’ Assist in ensuring compliance with federal and state healthcare laws and regulations.
β’ Support governance, policy formulation, investigations, and conflict resolution.
β’ Track and analyze legal and regulatory changes affecting healthcare operations.
β’ Work closely with leaders across the organization to align business goals with legal compliance.
β’ Report directly to senior leadership.
β’ Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
β’ Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
β’ Preference for Florida Bar membership or eligibility to acquire Florida Authorized House Counsel status.
β’ Extensive experience in healthcare law, ideally within a health system, hospice, home health, post-acute care, or other highly regulated healthcare settings.
β’ In-depth understanding of healthcare regulatory, compliance, contracting, and corporate legal issues.
β’ Outstanding communication, negotiation, analytical, and relationship-building capabilities.
β’ Ability to operate independently in a remote work setting.
β’ Willingness to travel 4β6 times per year as necessary.
